Dorset Antique Bottle Club Show May 12th 2019

Once again the weather was kind to us and the show was bathed in sunshine.

Bottlers from all over the country came to the show. The gathering in the car park as the show was being assembled inside the hall

Inside the hall befor the rush setup of the sales tables and displays for all to see was taking place.

Displays this year Andy Lane’s creams.

The question he posed strawberries and cream ot cream tea?

A few more of his pots

Shaun Baker showed of some Heartfordshire items and many were astounded by the varition.

Micky Winward sent the message to collect what you like and gave us all a few ideas.

Whilst I showed everyone collecting is a question of variation so true with ginger beers

Thanks guys it surely makes all collectors think and it’s appreciated by all who come to the show and maybe inspires people to collect. I’d like to think so.

Then the doors opened for the stallholders to set up there ware’s for people to add to their collections. A vast array of items to choose from !!!!!!

Both BBR and ABC magazines supported us and the main UK Bottle Auctions BBR and AA Auctions were here to show off what was coming up in their future sales. So a chance for visitors to view and discuss selling items with them.

Thanks to the ladies in the making the famous Dorset bacon baps and serving tea and cake.

Sure was apreciated by the many who after looking around talked bottles and made friends in a relaxed atmosphere.

Graham doing a stint collecting admissions.

Thanks to all who made the event sucessful and came it’s you all who make it happen. Make a date for your diaries for next year second Sunday in May it has been booked see you all there.
