Mays meeting was concerned with the final detail of the Club Show held at Minstead this coming Sunday members were making final preparation.

During the evening we also nattered about bottles, showed our finds and looked at the competition entries.
Mark brought along a couple of helpers and showed off a nice Aldridge Southampton GB flagon.
The Welsh Bottle comp entry brought out some wonderful stonies The T C Young from Neath was particularly admired, winning the category.

Bournemouth Brewery Codds and Verwood pottery wide mouth flagon and bread bin.
The England’s Pride group of pot lids won the colored Pot lid category.
Mike won the best bought category with a rare 1/2 gallon Mortlake pottery pub named salt-glazed flagon.
For me one of the highlights was the clay pipe category Tom Thumb French made pipe closely followed by the regal bust. Real works of art!
