Count Down To Minstead Dorsets Bottle collectors Club show

We are starting to count down the weeks and days to the Dorset club show. Our Flyers have been circulating around the other bottle shows and locally.

Stall booking are similar to last year. if any one wishes to have one get in contact with Mike.

The big questions are what will we have on display this year.

The tea pot is being fired up and the cakes being planned

Come along for a natter view and a bargain or three. The emphasis is to have a grand day out.

Or Make a weekend of it? For you motoring fans the event coincides with the Beaulieu Spring Autojumble. See that New Forest scenery maybe the odd newborn foal. Gardens are starting to open and show.

Dorset Antique Bottle Club Meeting March 2017

The Dorset Club Show  2017 held at Minstead Village hall was the main topic of conversation this month with plans well underway to make the show as successful as last years.

As usual the competitions were well supported

clearly club members are impressed with ginger beers

The pictorial pot lid brought out the two recorded types of Toone St Peter church pot lid a classic Blanchflowers farmyard scene Dr Dosteels & Sanoline.

In the Match strikers the RH White Ginger beer is clearly seen.

Will A hat trick happen next month? on the best dug another early tankard.

As Usual the best bought was keenly contested The labeled Shop display Bovrils are interesting as they had their original labels on and one was clearly intended for the French market.

Two truly sad finds the Sample Price Bristol mini flagon and the Eldridge Pope Coaster.

Some nice local smoking related ash trays and pipe.
